For the first gathering of the Spring 2003 Pluralism Project Interfaculty luncheons, we have invited executive directors of two of the largest national Muslim organizations to join us for an update on their work. The American Muslim Council's Executive Director Eric Erfan Vickers and the Council on American Islamic Relations' Executive Director Nihad Awad will offer their perspectives on challenges facing Muslims and Islamic communities in the United States today.

Hicks will present on his latest book, Religion and the Workplace: Pluralism, Spirituality,

For this fourth gathering of the Spring 2003 Pluralism Project
Interfaculty luncheons, †Dr. Tarek Mitri will share his observations
on the challenges of Christian-Muslim relations in Europe, in the
Middle East, and in the U.S. †We are fortunate to have him teaching
this semester at Harvard Divinity School. Originally from Lebanon,
Tarek Mitri works for the World Council of Churches in the area of
interreligious relations, especially Christian-Muslim relations. For
