Dr. Regina Boisclair

Dr. Regina Boisclair is professor of religious studies and Cardinal Newman chair at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska. She became a Pluralism Project affiliate in 1999. Over the years, she and her students have identified religious groups in Greater Anchorage and, from their research, offered brief sketches on the history of each community. During this time, Dr. Boisclair has also been active in interfaith and ecumenical efforts on campus and off, including the sponsoring of a major intra-Christian conference in her role as Newman Chair and serving on the city’s interfaith council. She has engaged students in the process of research as part of a course called “ER 201: Spiritual Environment.”
